About Me!
Going into college, I thought I was going to pursue a career in physical therapy, but that did not happen after I realized that I did not like my science courses as much as I was telling myself I did. I have always had an interest in business and how they work and what it takes to grow one.
I decided on marketing because I have always been a creative individual and I thought it was so amazing how I could put that creativity to use. Throughout my time at Texas Tech, I was really involved with my sorority whether it was a position I held or if it was behind the scenes helping one of my sisters.
I am so grateful for my experience as the director of social media and marketing for Kappa Delta because it led to my job at United Supermarkets as a social media intern.
My year with United was nothing short of an amazing experience. I was able to gain hands on experience of what it takes to run marketing at a corporate level. I learned how to communicate with business managers and construct a social media strategy around the needs of any sales promotions or building brand awareness about the new product we had at the stores.
I eagerly anticipate using my creative and strategic abilities to connect with audiences, build strong brands, and address the industry’s challenges. I am confident that my academic background and prior experiences have equipped me with the necessary skills to thrive in this field, and I am enthusiastic about embracing the opportunities that lie ahead.
